| Apples next generation OS 10.3 or Panther is making a sneak peek at the Apple website. Along with the 64bit Apple G5, this OS could really rock! With the latest FreeBSD and X11 goodies built in and new finder and other goodies this OS will be a great step up from 10.2.X and is likely to win the hearts of die hard UNIX users.....not to mention the video pros! | |
| What good is a web cam without software to run? Apple again comes out with a simple to use application. Now iChat is iChatAV. If you have a fast connection, a firewire web cam or DV camcorder or if not just talk to your friends via the great audio. This a beta release of the iChat that will be in MacOS X 10.3 or Panther. Microsoft take note...just because it is free does not mean you can bombard your customers with ad after ad after ad. Ad nauseam. | |
| Here we go again, I this and I that Apple is sure getting a lot of mileage out of the letter I, that is OK there product are the Rolls Royce of product and the iSight is no exception. A firewire based web cam the has its own video codec built in and has the best quality short of a DV camera. | |

| Do you use Konfabulator in OS X? The give my own widget a try! This is my first widget for Konfabulator. It takes webcam pictures from the CalTrans website, district 2, and displays them on your screen. District 2 is in Northern California has the terrain goes from beautiful pine covered mountains to rocky Crags to the High desert. Of you need Konfabulator to use it! | |
| Is it time for a Safari? You bet it is! Apple has released a new web browser for OS X. This puppy is fast and has some quite unique features. It is in beta at the moment so more features are bound to be added. If you surf the web then use Safari! | |
| Speaking of unix Apple has released their own X11 Xwindows App. This will allow you to run your Xwindows Apps side by side with Aqua & Classic Apps and copy & paste info between them. | |
